Zumba is one of the biggest things to happen in the fitness industry in recent years. It’s a Latin dance-based fitness class and its success is largely due to how much fun people have when they’re doing it. Zumba is often described as ‘exercise in disguise’ because it doesn’t feel like exercising! Zumba mixes low and high-intensity moves so you get an excellent cardio workout whilst toning your muscles, burning calories and, most importantly, having fun at the same time.

You don’t have to be able to dance to take part in a Zumba class. Zumba is for all fitness levels and no matter how much dance experience you’ve had in the past, you will have an awesome time. It’s not about being a perfect dancer and as long as you’re moving and having fun then you’re doing it right! Zumba classes offer a friendly space where it’s all about the music, having a good time and getting a great workout while you do it!
Zumba uses a mix of Latin and World music that includes the four basic rhythms of Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia and Reggaetón. I like to add in a dash of pop music, and you can also expect the odd bit of Bhangra, Swing, Hip-Hop and Dancehall to name a few.

Useful information
Booking is essential as numbers are limited. Click here to book your session.

Classes run on a pay-as-you-go basis, so you only pay for the sessions that you book. If you need to cancel, you must give 24 hours notice or you will still be charged. You can buy a block of 6 classes if you want to, which you can use in any of my Zumba classes and there’s no limit on when you have to use them by.

You don’t need any equipment to do Zumba, so all you need to bring is a drink of water and your party spirit!
It doesn’t matter what you wear. Most people tend to wear leggings or jogging bottoms and a t-shirt or vest top, but please come however you feel comfortable. In terms of footwear, trainers are best because they give you optimal support whilst you’re dancing.
