As always, thanks so much for coming to class/subscribing this week!
Cancer Research Treasure Trail
Wow! What a Saturday we had last weekend! When I woke up it was absolutely bucketing it down and things did NOT look good for the Treasure Trail. However, a quick look at the MET office app (which I had been compulsively checking for the last few days!) said it would brighten up by lunchtime. Fortunately it was correct and by 1pm the rain had gone away and the sun was doing its best to break through! Everyone arrived promptly to the Parade in Alveston and off they went to complete their Treasure Trail! The first team arrived back in just 40 minutes so they did extremely well! They certainly got their steps in that day! There was a steady stream of people completing the Treasure Trail, and also people who had come up to peruse the jams, cakes, biscuits and things we had for sale! Patch also joined us for the whole event and absolutely loved meeting you all and your dogs! He was utterly exhausted by 4:30pm! Little poppet just crashed out for the rest of the evening! The final team arrived back just after 4 and I'm glad to say we didn't lose a single person! The Alveston Methodist church did a sterling job of keeping everyone watered and rested with their selection of refreshments! When we packed in, the total looked like it was going to be around £800 which I was delighted with as I hadn't expected to make much more than £300 earlier in the week. You guys, of course, were not quite done yet though! The donations have continued to trickle in this week and the running total is now a ma-hoo-sive:
£1035.53!!!
There might be a few more donations to come in, but I think that's pretty much it for now and I'm absolutely delighted with the total! I know I say this every time I run one of these events, but your generosity never ceases to amaze me. Especially in times like these, when I appreciate things can be a bit tight, people have still dug deep and really helped this amazing charity out and made this event a massive success. Thankyou so much to every single person who has donated and supported this event! Here's to next year!

Bank Holiday
All classes will be closed on Easter Monday (10th April). Don't forget there is online Pilates on Weds at 10am, face-to-face Zumba on Thurs at 6pm and face-to-face Recycled Teenagers on Fri at 10am so you can do those ones instead of your usual Monday ones if you like!
