With Valentines day just around the corner, show yourself some love!


Get Creative!

Releasing your inner creativity can be great for your self-esteem and can also be very calming for your mind. Whether it's dancing, painting, writing or anything else, try to allow your self to be creative without judgement of the result!


Talk to a friend

Never underestimate the power of a good chat with a friend! Not just when you're down and need to offload, but also just to keep you feeling like yourself!


Get some exercise

I know, I know, I bang on about this ALL the time, but it really does make a difference and make you feel more upbeat and energetic! If you're not healthy you can't look after other people!


Do something fun!

Make some time to do something you enjoy! It's so easy to get bogged down in things we NEED to do that we can often forget to enjoy life! Whether it's attending your favourite exercise class, watching some TV or anything else, it's so important to do something fun every now and then!


Grab a bit of 'ME' time!

Everyone needs a break from the hustle and bustle of normal life every now and then! Read a book, go for a walk, take a bath or whatever makes you feel RELAXED for a change!


Reduce your caffeine intake

I know, I know, you've heard it 100 times before, but caffeine can reduce your quality of sleep and can ultimately make you feel more fatigued in the long-run as well as increasing your risk of suffering from headaches! Try switching to decaf for alternate drinks, or set a cut-off time for your last cup of coffee for the day! Your sleep with thank you for it!


Switch off your devices

Whether it's just to take a break for a few hours, or to enable you to sleep better, it's a great idea to try to spend some time without technology every day
