11th September 2026 Newsletter
Hi all,
As always, thanks so much for coming to class/subscribing this week!
Alveston Community Fair
What a brilliant turnout for the line dancing at the Alveston Community Fair! I’m so grateful to everyone who came along and supported me — it really does make such a difference. There’s nothing worse than trying to get a load of unwilling participants up dancing, so seeing so many people joining in and having fun was fantastic! 😂 Paul even heard me from the garden and took a little video, which was really lovely. Over the years I’ve heard so many different events going on over on the Lime Kiln Fields from my garden, and now I’m one of them! 🥰 Same time next year — put it in your diary now: the first Saturday in September!

Upcoming Road Closures
More road closures are on the horizon for the next 3 months or so. Obviously we are all very used to this now, so I just wanted to make everyone aware. It's 8pm-6am so should only affect people coming to evening classes. Make sure to make a note of any diversions you will need to make and if people require additional Zoom classes during these periods, just let me know!

Yoga in Alveston
I’ve heard that Lauren’s new Yoga classes got off to a really great start last week! 😊 There’s still time to join her if you’ve been thinking about giving Yoga a try. Whether you’re completely new to Yoga or already enjoy a regular practice, it’s a lovely opportunity to stretch, move and take some time for yourself. 🌿 There are still spaces available, so you can book on and join her from next week!
A lovely afternoon of Yoga & treats! 🧘♀️🥂🍓
Fancy combining a little Yoga with Prosecco, strawberries and cream — all while raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support? My Line Dancing participant Elise is hosting this lovely outdoor event in Stone on Sunday 27th September, 2–4pm. Tickets are £25, with limited places available. It sounds like a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon — some gentle movement, a chance to relax and socialise, and then a well-earned glass of Prosecco and some strawberries and cream! 💚 If you’d like to join in, message me and I’ll put you in touch with Elise.

Have an awesome weekend,
See you next week,
