Hi all,

As always, thanks so much for coming to class/subscribing this week!

🩰Next Barre Term Starts Soon🩰

The next term of Barre Fitness starts soon, with 6 weeks for £42, starting Tuesday 13th October / Friday 16th October. There are currently 2 spaces available in the Tuesday 7:05pm class and 1 space in the Friday 11:10am class, both in Alveston.

Barre is a great way to build strength, balance and stability, particularly through your legs, glutes and core, while also working on posture and flexibility. It’s low impact but don’t let that fool you – those tiny movements can make your muscles work surprisingly hard! 😅 You don’t need any ballet or dance experience either, so if you fancy trying something a little different, this could be the one for you.

Fancy joining us? Book your space now before these last few places go! Simply message me to reserve your spot and I’ll get you booked in, or head directly to my website and book on from there. 🩰

As always, you’ll also get access to some recorded workouts to do at home if you can’t make a class, or if you fancy an extra workout during the week.

🤠Line Dancing Spaces🤠

Fancy learning some new moves? Join Monday night Line Dancing! You can join us for the full 4 weeks of October for just £28, every Monday at 7:05pm at Manorbrook Primary School in Thornbury.

This class gets booked up VERY fast, so booking the October block is the best way to guarantee your space!

Line dancing is a brilliant way to get moving without it feeling like a workout. You’ll improve coordination, balance, memory and fitness, while learning fun routines to great music. It’s also a good brain workout – remembering the steps, directions and sequences keeps your mind busy as well as your body! And of course, there’s plenty of opportunity for a laugh along the way. No partner needed, no previous experience required and beginners are always welcome.

Want to join us? Book the October block now to guarantee your place! 🤠 Pay As You Go spaces may also be available for £7.50 per class, but these are only released if there are spaces left, so the block booking is definitely the safest option if you want to come every week.

🔵Tesco Blue Tokens🔵

If you’re doing a Tesco shop in Thornbury at the moment, keep an eye out for those little blue charity tokens! St Helen’s Primary School is currently one of the projects you can vote for, giving them a chance to receive some funding from Tesco.

So, if you’re given a token, please pop it in the box for St Helen’s Primary and help them get as many votes as possible. 💙

And if you’re using the self-checkout and there’s nobody watching… well, I’m not saying you should grab a handful… but I’m also not saying you shouldn’t! 😂

🎁Shoe Box Appeal🎁

The U3A class I teach is getting involved with the Link to Hope Shoebox Appeal this year, so they're busy collecting bits and pieces to fill up some shoeboxes and hopefully spread a little Christmas cheer to people who really need it. ❤️

If you fancy helping them out, they’d love some donations! Sweets and multipacks of razors are especially needed, but things like toiletries, small toys, stationery and other useful little goodies are all great too.

If you have anything you’d like to donate, just bring it along to one of my classes by the end of October and I’ll add it to the collection. Every little bit helps them fill another box, so have a rummage and see what you can find! 🎁❤️

More info here on what they are looking for here https://linktohope.co.uk/shoebox-appeal-2026/
