7th October 2022 Newsletter

Hi all,

As always, thanks so much for coming to class/subscribing this week!

Final Barre term of the year

Booking is now open for the final Barre Fitness term of the year! Do you want to feel like a beautiful ballerina in the run up to Christmas? Christmas is definitely the most 'ballet-like' time of year. Think the Nutcracker and Swan Lake on a winter's evening! Very festive, I say! Well, if you want to get into the spirit of things early then join the final Barre Fitness term of the year which starts on 18th and 21st October. It's a 9 week term for £58.50 which (amazingly) takes us up to Christmas. Then we will have a break for Christmas and resume in the new year. People booked onto this term will get priority booking for the first term of 2023. If you don't want to miss out then get in touch ASAP as there are very few spaces left. You can message me to book, or use the booking link here https://www.samhutchinsonfitness.com/book-online Classes run at the following times: Tuesdays at 7:05pm (2 spaces left) Fridays at 11:05am (1 space left) These classes always sell out fast so get in touch if you want a space!

Forrest Fun!

Tortworth Forest Centre is a community woodland set in a historic arboretum just north of Thornbury. Not usually open to the public, this Autumn we are inviting you to come and share this enchanting place with us over a series of events! Firstly our Autumn Open Day takes place on Saturday 15th October as the trees offer a spectacular display of reds, oranges and golds. Our team of experts will be at hand offering guided collection tours, history talks, forest school activities, a ceremonial tree planting, stalls and more. Get lost in the ancient trees, then follow the enticing smell of woodsmoke back to the round house for a hot beverage. Tickets must be booked in advance. Gates open from 10am. As the nights draw in we invite you to our first ever storytelling evening. On Friday 4th November we will be joined by Sian Kidd, as she shares a few of her favourite samhain stories, accompanied by traditional folk songs. This is an evening for adults and slightly older children alike. Bring a torch and a blanket, gather around the fire and enjoy one of the simplest pleasures available, the spoken word. Please visit the event section of our website for more information on these events and more https://tortwortharboretum.org/events/list/
